Mapperton House Aerial Videography
Working with Mapperton House, gave us a great opportunity to show the best within our Dorset Aerial Videography. It’s a spectacular environment, both for the period architecture, along with it’s stunning grounds. They really don’t come much better than this.
We had the pleasure of covering an amazing wedding earlier this summer at Mapperton House. The venue is huge and is the home of the Earl of Sandwich – yes the heir to the man who created our favourite in between meals snack!
Mapperton House was recently used as part of the set for the period film ‘Far from the Madding Crowd’ with it’s frontage and courtyard area being transformed back to a rustic looking market place.
For us as Dorset Aerial Videographers, we had so many aspects that could produce great footage. The front was a must have, but the gardens and the surrounding countryside, likewise had to be included. Being able to put together a number of shots, fly overs, arcing panning shots, details and long fly out reveals.

This final edit, leaves us with a feeling of contentment. We did the place proud, honing in on the stunning architecture, whilst still showing off their perfectly designed period gardens and the enveloping Dorset countryside.
